Manjunathswamy Hiremath

I'm a Post Graduate in Agriculture Sciences and Research Scholar who spent 8 enriching years working in Public Sector Banking before transitioning into the world of financial markets. For the past 4 years, I've been an active trader — primarily in options and equities on Indian exchanges.

My background in agriculture gave me a deep understanding of commodity cycles, seasonal patterns, and ground-level economic realities that most city-based traders miss. My banking years taught me credit risk, financial analysis, and the patience that institutional trading demands. Together, these form the foundation of how I approach markets.

Beyond markets, I'm a voracious reader, a weekend traveller who finds Karnataka's heritage endlessly fascinating, and someone who believes that good food and clear thinking go hand-in-hand. This blog is where all four worlds collide.

My Values & Philosophy

📊

Data Over Noise

Markets reward those who follow evidence, not headlines. Every opinion I share is backed by analysis.

📖

Continuous Learning

One book a month, minimum. The day you stop learning is the day the market starts teaching you expensive lessons.

🛡️

Risk First

Protect your capital first, profits second. Every trade starts with defining what I'm willing to lose, not gain.

🌿

Balance

Trading is a marathon. Rest, travel, good food, and time with family make you a better trader.

🤝

Honesty

I write about losses as much as wins. The trading community needs more transparency, not more Instagram highlight reels.

🌱

Roots Matter

My agricultural background keeps me grounded in real-world economic cycles that most market participants ignore.
